We’ve wrapped up another Spring semester at TOBB ETÜ Department of Industrial Design 🌱

This semester in our design studio, we focused on mobile coffee stations. Each student selected a local coffee joint and designed a unit inspired by its customer experience.

It was nice to see the event come together just as I had envisioned at the beginning of the term — calm, engaging, and full of meaningful conversations over coffee and snacks.

Each game was fully playable and thoughtfully presented with its own guide, poster, and packaging.

The games were shaped around two themes:
• the mission of a student-selected NGO
• students’ own experiences at TOBB ETÜ

Yesterday, we held the playtesting event for the Introduction to Game Design course I teach at TOBB ETÜ. Despite the snow outside, we had a cozy and enjoyable afternoon with students and faculty coming together to play the board games developed throughout the semester.

We had a great playtesting event to conclude this years Introduction to Game Design course.

This year, I’m teaching the Introduction to Game Design course with physical games for the first time. The first prototypes started to roll in! ⭐️ #gamedesign
