Here is my review of Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green. It’s not a bad book, I enjoyed many of the themes. Other parts feel flat for me.

am continuing this book. I am starting chapter 3. The more I read this the more empathy I have for the Congolese people. The can’t escape the harsh realities of living next to and working in a mining pit. Working so hard for so little.

Reading a little in between events at the sectional swim meet.
This book is fascinating, heartbreaking and inspiring expose into life of the Congolese people who are doing the mining of Cobalt.

I just finished this book. It is an amazing book that sheds light not only Tuberculosis but also the history of the disease, and the fight to eradicate it in many poor countries.

I just finished Open Veins in Latin America. This book is so eye opening. You get a sense of what the people of the Latin American countries went through from the colonial era to the 1970s. There is so much to unpack with this book.
