I hope the staff manage to take over the place & reopen it. The staff were always so friendly & treated small bands a lot better than other venues we played. The food was also very nice.

With the amount of history & endless amazing stories Edinburgh has to tell. It’s sad seeing so many places with HP plastered over them.

When money was a bit tight when I was a kid. Those demo discs where the thing that kept me gaming. I was the same with the one of the Tony Hawk demos. One of them came with the park editor to use & I spent countless hours playing it.

So let me say I've really enjoyed reading the fanzine & your posts about games, anime, magazine adverts & gaming history. I can see you have a genuine passion for the things you write about & that shines through in your work.

I’ll need to add this game to the list of demos to the list. All theses demos are giving me strong demo disc nostalgia.

Played a bit of it last night & I can see myself sinking a lot of hours into it. It's the perfect kinda game for me to play it on the Steam Deck.

Also CRT update. I finally bought a replacement CRT. Unfortunately the seller has went silent so it might still fall through. Fingers crossed.

Had to go onto Facebook for the first time in years to use marketplace to try & find a replacement CRT. I forgot just how bad it is on that site.

truly fascinated by how faithful the C64 port of the simpsons arcade game is, even when it doesn't totally benefit the port. e.g, the opening cutscene music, translated directly to the C64's SID chip, starts to reach "Crazy Bus" levels of harmonic chaos

It’s a disgrace what the owners did to the place and the staff. I know there was talks of the staff buying it over but I think that didn’t work out. Fingers crossed someone buys & reopens it one day.

Last pic before going home. Didn’t find much today but still had a nice time walking around Glasgow. Gonna have a few shots at Daytona before heading for the train.

Always breaks me heart seeing places like the 13th Note closed down & boarded up. This was my favourite venue to play at when I was in a band. Even though every time we played they seem to get our name wrong. It’s also the place me & my partner went on our first date.
