Absolutely the correct time. Let’s hope Carney brings an end to divisive diaspora politics in our country. And focuses on an economic lens with India & China to strengthen the Canadian economy.

The Kennedy Center has an amazing arts exhibit themed around outreach & collaboration with the international community by US artists & organizations since the 1960s. Don’t see this continuing. What a loss.

An excellent opportunity to taste our Canadian wines from the Okanagan Valley, Niagara region and Prince Edward County.

A well crafted speech by Trudeau on the US trade war with Canada. Hopefully the US media will replay clips as he spoke directly to our American citizen friends on the impact for them, the data on Fetanyl plus our border security measures. And that “Donald” was listening.

@markcarney2025.bsky.social was the only candidate that mentioned the importance of Canadian universities during the English debate.

Super Bowl 2025 definitely not the culmination of an exciting 24-25 NFL season. Wish it had been the Buffalo Bills, a team that gave us so much joy, every single week. Today’s SB: boring!

Opinion: Lessons from Canada’s Nobel Prize win, and why capping graduate students will harm our economy The University of Toronto’s Geoffrey Hinton’s 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics holds important implications for Canada’s prosperity

@uoft.bsky.social President Meric Gertler explains why limiting the number of international graduate students in universities, harms our economy. A must-read, especially for the feds (whoever is left) making policy decisions.

Rachel Aviv brings together the full lens of personal history and complexity of Alice Munro. The piece could be a chapter from: Strangers to Ourselves, a brilliant book by Aviv.

Trudeau’s stubbornness helped his rise — and his fall, says former advisor The Current · Episode

One of the best interviews about Trudeau’s resignation. Love @gmbutts.bsky.social reference to Shakespeare. Thinking back, the best alums from @uoft.bsky.social Policy School were Humanities graduates!

Sheridan College’s Theatre program is renowned for its excellence with alums leading major theatrical productions all over the world. Let’s not wait for a funding solution from either the provincial or federal governments. And start convening on funding options to save this national treasure.
