Oh no, Vi cannot be caught sneaking about these rich Piltovan homes. Never mind that she's Deputy and that she has actual rights. Actual rights don't cover breaking the law though, and while she's fairly certain Caitlyn would bail her out—if it's her idea she'd better, right?— she kind of really doesn't want to roll the dice. She already knows how they look at her and it does piss her of to have to even think about this too. Who'd have thought that she'd be rule following now? Must be Caitlyn's Piltover upbringing rubbing of on her. It's got to be. It— Actually, Vi thinks as she stares back at the grin on Caitlyn's face, as she follows Caitlyn's eye to her finger that taps on the concealed pocket in her pants, it is very likely that Caitlyn has never cared about the rules in the first place.

“Do you like it when I drive you around?” Caitlyn says in a low tone, perfectly innocent. Oh, no. Vi is completely unprepared to navigate this right now. This Caitlyn is… well, lethal. She always seems to come around when Vi least expects it. And right now, it seems she’s decided this is the perfect time to strike. It’s not like Vi can escape. Well, she could tuck and roll right out onto the highway, but there’s a few flaws in that plan. “Vi,” Caitlyn says, and her voice is like stepping into a warm bath. This is really not good. It’s like she’s holding a carrot, just out of reach, and Vi is the pathetic little bunny excitedly waiting for it. Except it’s definitely not like that at all, because Vi has the willpower of steel. Obviously. “This is not the time for that,” Vi mutters.

Right between denial and anger is marrying your best friend. Now come on, we need to have a lot of sex quickly if we’re to make a decision in a decent timeframe.”
