Yes, it feels like choosing between being perceived as being rude or obstinate, or feeling like you're betraying yourself. Either way, it feels like you lose. Interacting with neurotypicals can feel like such a minefield for us. 🫂

I think the best part about sending red state Guard troops to the "war zones" in blue state cities is that it gives red state soldiers a chance to experience first hand (& tell others) that the people in charge are straight up lying. It really is a good plan!
