"I better go back and find out who attended that sneak preview, all those dear children and in danger of becoming... Roger Ebert". Gene just absolutely eviscerates Roger Ebert into dust

Some guy on Reddit just stumbled across 16mm prints of Space Battleship Yamato in Mexico. While they’re super cool and all, I’m really just curious how they ended up there. Far as I know, the series never got released in Latin America.

This has been building very slowly and in such a meaningful and true to life way. What a great series
09.03.2026 01:42 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I loved this so so much and thought it was an interesting and extremely engaging direction to go in. She clearly dearly loves her best friend so so much but also is struggling with the mental burden of having to always Be the best friend. It's a lot for a girl who can't even drive yet to handle.

"like about you." emiri blushes gayly
any other version of this story would have had emiri work through an unrequited crush on asa, but journal with witch instead lets emiri vent some of her darkest feelings about her best friend, to a partner who listens and doesn't condemn her. verisimilitude through messiness. women can do anything.

Farewell to Jennifer Runyon (1960-2026), who was everywhere in the ‘80s and always a delight.

I saw someone call this show "uncomfortably realistic" and yeah that's a great way of describing it the longer it goes on. And it's one of the many, many reasons why I love it so much. Dealing with trauma, interpersonal friendship politics, social burnout, and so much more all being written so well
09.03.2026 01:24 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Another really solid Journal with Witch episode today, and finally we get a heavy focus on Emiri again, whose story I've been hoping to see more of. A lot of really tough questions coming up for a handful of characters, with answers that might have no choice but to hurt them more than anything.
