IT’S WOMEN IN HORROR MONTH!
Be bold
Take up space
Ask for more money
Closed mouths don’t get fed
Follow your intuition
You are enough
Authenticity is enough
Ditch those self limiting beliefs
Do it scared
Don’t give up

I can't quite believe it's actually not illegal.

If I caught anyone using these things to film me or anyone I know they'd shortly be getting a free colonoscopy.

The Colour of Magic! Picked up at the shop knowing nothing at all about it, around the time it came out in paperback.

I've read a couple of reviews of Scratch Moss where people said "they saw the ending coming". I wonder... do horror novels necessarily need a devastating twist that nobody is prepared for? Or is the journey -- if told well -- enough?

There may be an inordinate amount of SCRATCH MOSS spam and promo in the next 48 hours. Please ignore or mute if supremely-written and original folk horror with a strong social conscience is not your thing.

Threads; the closest you ever want to be to nuclear war - Silver Magazine Revisit the impact Threads, nuclear war film had on children of the 80s and culture as a whole ahead of it's airing on BBC4 this October.

I did an 80s Armageddon playlist to accompany this piece on the nuclear docudrama Threads a couple of years back - it’s embedded somewhere in the middle
