Police are paid fair wages and probably have better benefits than most jobs. Police need unions mostly for disciplinary issues. When faced with issues, arbitration is an option for job retention or suspension. Police confront people more than any other workers, so their protections are necessary.

I remember him pitching when I was a kid. It was around the same time Roman Gabriel was quarterback for the LA Rams. Those were great days with great players. Pittsburgh also had greats like Clemente, Mazeroski, and Elroy Face. No steroids and small gloves. Real heroes for kids.
