Good god, I donβt think there has been one day - NOT ONE DAMNED DAY - without some sort of crisis or outrage since DJT floated down that damned escalator.
Please, someone, anyone, put the world back to where it used to be.

Weeping Plum Tree in Full Bloom This soft and ethereal photograph captures a magnificent weeping plum tree (shidare-ume) in full bloom, showcasing the delicate beauty of early spring in Japan. The ancient, gnarled trunk of the tree curves gracefully through the center of the frame, its dark, textured bark providing a strong contrast to the dense explosion of color surrounding it. Countless cascading branches draped in vibrant pink blossoms flow downward, creating a "radiant" and immersive canopy that almost entirely fills the composition. The blossoms are rendered in various shades of soft pink and magenta, with the sunlight filtering through the petals to create a luminous, dreamlike effect. The shallow depth of field softly blurs the foreground and background, making the central tree appear as if it is enveloped in a mist of flowers. This species (Prunus mume) typically blooms from late February to mid-March, offering a serene and "luminous" precursor to the later cherry blossom season.

No congressional approval.
No UN approval.
Not even the fig leaf of a "coalition of the willing."
This war was unprovoked and is illegal.
It doesn't matter that Iran is a brutal dictatorship, unless we're also ready to support war with Saudi Arabia and the world's other despots.
Yeah. Nothing to see here. This attack has been planned for months. He's going to try to downplay it and blame it on others but we know the truth

Trumpβs attack on Iran violates UN rules Canada has agreed to uphold. It contradicts numerous values PM Carney claimed he supported in Davos. Endorsing illegality, violence, & destruction over dialogue and peaceful resolution is not what Canadians were promised, or support.
28.02.2026 17:09 β π 306 π 112 π¬ 10 π 6From the NYTimes: "The administration has not provided Congress and the American people with critical details about the scope and immediacy of the threat," Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York and the minority leader, said in a statement on Saturday. He called for Congress to "quickly return to session and reassert its constitutional duty" by passing legislation to curtail the military campaign against Iran.
What Chuck seems to lack the clarity or courage to say:
β’ Only Congress can declare war
β’ Congress did not declare war on Iran
β’ This war is illegal
β’ Wars of aggression are considered to be "supreme international crimes" by the International Criminal Court. The phrase was coined at Nuremberg.

Weeping Plum Blossoms at Night This enchanting nighttime photograph captures a magnificent weeping plum tree (shidare-ume) in full bloom, showcasing the ethereal beauty of early spring in Japan. The ancient, gnarled trunk of the tree anchors the composition, with its dark, textured bark providing a grounding contrast to the explosion of color above. Countless cascading branches draped in vibrant pink blossoms flow downward like a floral waterfall, creating a dense and "radiant" canopy that fills the frame. In the background, white blossoms are illuminated, adding depth and a soft, luminous glow to the scene. The ground beneath is lightly carpeted with fallen petals, further emphasizing the peak of the flowering season. The low-angle perspective and soft lighting evoke a sense of quiet wonder, characteristic of yozakura or nighttime blossom viewing, where the flowers take on a mysterious and almost magical quality against the dark evening sky.

Hi Mr. Genuis, I saw that you're searching for Antifa (anti-fascist) personnel in Canada's Armed Forces. Wanted to submit a name for your records. That name is my grandfather, George Donald Stephen (1923 - 2013). George served in the Navy's Pacific Theatre during World War Two. While fighting against fascism, he participated in convoy duties, protecting merchant shipping, and also liberated POWs at the end of the war. He never spoke about this time, but I learned from my father later that those POWs were so emaciated and far gone from torture and starvation that 1/3rd of them made it onto my Grandpa's ship only to die on the trip home. I have many friends and other family members who served at various times in the CAF and they were all opposed to fascism too. But I wanted to tell you myself about my Grandpa, because I know for certain that were he still alive he would be so, so ashamed that someone like you got elected to represent of the Canada he fought for. Sincerely, RenΓ©e Stephen
Garnett Genuis has asked about Antifa members in the CAF. I had a name for him.

Torii Shinto Shrine on Lake Shinji-ko This evocative sunset photograph by The Sankei Shimbun captures the iconic torii gate of Yomegashima Island on Lake Shinji-ko in Shimane Prefecture. The composition is defined by a dramatic, fiery red palette, with the low-angled sunlight reflecting intensely off the gentle ripples of the water's surface in the foreground. In the distance, the small, tree-covered silhouette of the island sits anchored in the lake, centered around the white stone torii gate that glows brightly against the dark foliage. The sky above is filled with long, horizontal bands of orange and crimson clouds, creating a sense of vastness and spiritual serenity. This location is renowned as one of Japan's most beautiful sunset spots, where the architectural symbol of Shintoism meets the profound natural beauty of the lake.
