Had an awesome dad moment today. My daughter and I played and beat Sonic 1 co-op a hack at #shc2025. It was our first time beating a game together since Untitled Goose Game.

Sonic is Alone. at #SHC2025 is one of the most unsettling Sonic romhacks I have ever played and it proves that when it comes to horror less is often more.

Sonic 1 The Super Challenges is a romhack featured at #SHC2025 in which players have to get through Sonic 1 playing as one of four characters in their super or hyper form. You have a timer and a set number of rings and once your rings reach 0 its game over. Highly addictive

Haven't played it yet, got to install a certain version of Sonic 1 first, but plan to later this week.
Each of the gals have their own move, which is nice. When going for character mods I don't want pallet swaps, but something plays different.
The creator also made it compatible with this mod.

This year's #SHC2025 includes a DDLC Sonic 1 Mod as well as a hack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles that includes some of the competition stages as one player zones. This SHC is looking like it is going to be a great one

The NC State Fair just released the new foods it will feature at this year's event and here are my picks for foods that I would try. Some look delicious, while others are so odd, i couldn't help but want to give them a shot, but that is the nature of state fair food.
