Minicomic. In the first panel, Mage Viktor hunches over, his staff grasped upright in front of him, in a parallel with his Jayce, lost to him in statue form. Before him, child Jayce from an alternate timeline stares with wide eyes at Viktor’s melancholy expression. He holds a little flower in his mittened hands. In the second panel, Viktor looks up in surprise, a little haunted, as the child in front of him sweetly places the flower into his hair.

Third panel. As young Jayce releases his grasp on the flower he just placed in Viktor’s hair, Viktor gazes back with utmost affection, the weight he carries in his heart spilling over into tears forming in his eyes. His lips form a tremulous smile.

Fourth and final panel. Young Jayce places his mittened hand on Mage Viktor’s cheek. Finally, Viktor’s grip on his staff tightens with overwhelming emotion. His expression cracks and his tears spill over. Jayce’s gesture is so sweet. Heartbroken, Viktor feels he does not deserve this.

“I miss you.”
