Picked up The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman and I'm enjoying it immensely. Reminds me of TTRPGs in a good way. Fun MC. Its close to the flavour of Sword & Sorcery I'm aiming for with my current WIP, so it's a good study, too. 😌⚔️

There's a weird disconnect between technological and social progress, and I think history has fucked up our timeline with regards to the role of capitalism. I feel like if we extrapolated human civilization from ape to where we are now on the drawing board, we should be further along on some axis.

Tech is making good progress, which is awesome, but we really need to start expropriating the obscenely rich – in practice, not just theory – for it to work in our favour.

Just sayin'.

And work should be reduced to 5 hours a day, 3 days a week or something.

Has anyone played #BaldursGate3 in couch co-op with their partner since one of the recent patches and can tell me how companions work now?

I would only want to play it with my wife if we get the full experience (each of our companions interjecting in all dialogues, acknowledging each other, etc.)
