Currently a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the VIB-KULeuven Center for Microbiology (Leuven, Belgium), focussing on the human gut microbiome and its connections to host health.

Currently working as a Senior PostDoc at the VIB-KULeuven Center for Microbiology (Leuven, Belgium) studying the human gut microbiome and how it connects with the host's health.

Homepage up and running with #Node v22 and #GatsbyJS v5 (migrated from v2 yikes!). The groundwork is now done and so I can update sebastian.proost.science soon 👍

An 1440p ultrawide + a macropad to switch between virtual desktops has been a major productivity booster for my workflow! It is redonkulous this isn't far more common :-D
