America was founded on the basic protection against unlawful imprisonment.

Due process is a fundamental right in our constitution.

Denying it or defending those who deny it is unamerican and illegal.

Really important to keep in mind that everything Trump is doing right now is made possible by the essential and total complicity of the Republican Party and "conservative" leaders. In the House and the Senate, the courts and the administration, the right-wing media and donors. All of them.

Maybe instead of purging the Social Security workers who make sure seniors get their checks on time, we should be expanding benefits to make life a little easier for your parents and grandparents.

Social media can be powerful, and a great way to keep up with many things; but offline is the key; in your community, with your people, the people you interact with everyday, whether on the job or around town, reaching out. That can ripple out and up.
