The OG tech bro does what tech bros are good at: swooping in and making proclamations on subjects they don’t know much about, and their hordes of admirers blindly follow. This always causes more harm than good and diverts energy and resources from what’s truly important. #listen2experts #dontlookup

Forget EVs. Cycling is revolutionising transport
Pedal power is booming, spinning up a new culture war
“In London cyclists now outnumber cars in the City by 2 to 1. Paris, where they now outnumber motorists across the whole city, is catching up with Europe’s traditional bike capitals, Amsterdam & Copenhagen…In Copenhagen, bikes account for almost half of commuter trips to work/school.” @economist.com

I use it and love it. Like LeBron, I hate subscriptions and get by just fine without (set to 1 hr meetings). If there’s something like a publication coming out and I need to make available shorter meeting times for the press etc, I select that shorter interval (ie 30 mins) for the period I need it.

I don’t need a self driving car. I need a vehicle that runs between major areas and can transport large numbers of people at once to reduce environmental impact…wait it’s a train. I’m describing trains.
Build more goddamned TRAINS, America.
