Now the glue is cleaned off.

Hell, that wasn't so bad. Scraping off all the glue was a bit time consuming, but also satisfying in a way. Now I just gotta wait for the new part to show up and stick it on.

Phase 1 is complete. Next I gotta do the annoying part and heat up/pry off the bonded touch screen.

Nobody on earth predicts major geopolitical events with as much glib confidence as middle-aged white men who watch cable news and have zero expertise whatsoever.

Yeah I did the reset. I can see quite a bit of condensation in between the display and digitizer similar to this pic, it's toast.

Oh interesting, last inspection I got the only recall item they flagged for me was the fuel pump but I'd be curious to know what you're hearing. It renders the entire infotainment system useless, I'm of half a mind to just rip it all out and put in a tape deck.

Yeah I got a pretty nice set of pry tools and whatnot thru work for doing computer repairs, should handle what I need for this.

My car's touch screen has fallen prey to the delamination "ghost touch" issue that plagues 2018-2019 Outbacks. Instead of paying 1500 bucks for the dealership to fix it, I bought a new screen off ebay for $120 and gonna try to replace it myself.

You might be spending more at the pump lately but on the flip side at least you're saving daylight now.

Looks to me like it's all just dancing bears and whatnot. Mostly just a way to make custy wallets 60 bucks lighter.

if the words "people should" are about to come out of your mouth, stop, bc there is no such thing as "people should." there's people do or people don't, based on what they know, what they believe to be true, & who they believe they are. "should" = "i'm doing nothing to change one of those 3 things"

AI is a machine made by and for the fascists. There's plenty of easily available footage of real human protesters for your clip.

You're making bold choices and taking decisive action - that's what's important here. You may ruffle a few feathers but stay the course. You got this.

They also had their lawyer call to fire him lol, and used the potential for severance to pressure him into putting out a false statement. And yeah, then never paid him the severance.

Just like with the congestion pricing, all controversy about it would disappear about 5 minutes after it went into effect too.

This is why I'll call bullshit on any use of these tools for any reason, full stop. Call me a "scold" I don't care, the stakes are too high. If you use these services you are complicit in the techno-fascist nightmare we're living through.

So if this is true, which it probably is;

And Anthropic AI was used to select US strike targets, which we now know it was;

Then there's a distinct chance that the public's use of Claude led *directly* to the development of the AI that sat in the "kill chain" which drove the murder of those girls.

It's on PolyMarket. You can find it on Kalshi. It's literally on BetLife. I found it on debtr. They have it on Parlai.

Yeah it's pretty bad man. They also had Reed Mathis attached to this project and he walked out on them. The guy who runs this FB page was more than happy to put him on full blast when I (some rando he doesn't know at all) emailed to inquire about Reed's status.

Post on https://www.facebook.com/AYNIL.Tour/

Tomorrow, the next to last Friday of the tour at the wonderful, intimate β€˜jam friendly’ Lark Hall, Albany.
We’re hearing that fans in the Capital District are having a hard time with ticket prices. Indeed, we’re living though challenging times in many ways. We also know that music is medicine for our spirits. David Crosby wrote β€˜Music is Love.’ Did you know that Croz & his fellow Byrd Roger McGuinn turned George Harrison on to Ravi Shankar & sitar … it’s in Pete Lavezzoli’s book. Pete’s our drummer & scholar, and an acclaimed author.
That beautiful history, that medicine is with us on tour & on display for our collective nourishment. No one has ever performed George β€˜as repertoire’ - then adding an original genius (the band will cringe reading that word) but it’s true.
ALL YOU NEED IS GEORGE is more than the sum of its parts. It has surpassed all our expectations & it wasn’t without some melodrama & atmospheric challenges & adventures. But we’re ’here.’
Most of our shows this last week will sell out. We’re GRATEFUL. But Lark Hall, which is so magical that we’re playing it on only 1 of 4 Fridays …that’s how much we love it … needs your love & attendance that they & this show deserves.
$60 is not an expensive ticket, not an unfairly expensive one in any event. Lark Hall & this show deserve your support& we know you’ll find it to be a … salvation … for our weariness from as George wrote, β€˜Greedy leaders.’

The All You Need is George page is Posting Through It in the face of low ticket sales for tonight 😬 Weird vibes with this whole project lol. I'll still be there though.

The Official Grateful Dead Podcast The Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast is the first official Grateful Dead podcast. New episodes Thursdays. Tune in everywhere.

Don't do it for me, do it for Jesse! Lol. They do have transcripts for the bulk of the episodes (www.dead.net/deadcast-index) though most of the studio album episodes have amazing isolated track breakdowns and such that justify a listen.

Gotcha, I like listening to them while I make dinner. It's not any different from an audiobook or something imo, there's good and bad stuff. Deadcast is *by far* the most thorough dive into all things GD across all media formats though, it's an astonishing body of work.
