Albuquerque is at its best when we come together to care for our city. This week hundreds of City employees kicked off Operation Aloft, our annual Balloon Fiesta clean-up. Last year 10,000+ lbs of trash were collected and even more teams are out this year.

Big wins for ABQ builders. We cut permit waits, cleared backlogs, and sped up inspections. Residential reviews went from 112 to 15 days, commercial from 121 to 37. Inspections now in 1 day, licenses in 2. Starting Oct 1, Express Permitting will make it even faster.

Yesterday we opened the Southwest Safety Center, the first of its kind in Albuquerque. APD, AFR, and ACS are now working together under one roof on the west side. This 21,000 sq ft center will cut response times, add resources, and keep families safe.
