Are there synonyms for cinnamon?
Not cinnamon,
Synonym.
Some substitution,
For poetic precision?

Not the antithesis,
but something to mimic it.
A word to replace it with,
some kind of equivalent?

as her music she gifts
to the moonlit night
tiny snowflakes fall
like a weeping of stars

Since the first
second
I saw you
you have been
a siren song
sighing and singing
softly
in my soul

art gathers me up
and shelters me
from the storm

Saturday night, bathed in digital glow,
Writing bad poetry, words unyielding control.
They're in there, they itch—

Writing's a bitch.

May I always find it in me, to be
Gentler, softer, and more loving
Even when storms settle upon me,
May I revel in the silence within

a first snowfall

Now She keeps the planet.
Oh, putting back birds, insects, caribou, lost butterflies and orchids.

So much lost.
Such disrespect
for Impermanence.
