Great mix of styles: classic Hard Trance influences (the lead reminds me of Flutlicht or Dumonde) and a Tech base makes it a tune for both Trance and Mainstream/Mainroom Techno floors.

Another week with a Disco House bomb, the whole EP is amazing but this is the best track of the bunch, idk where the sample is from yet, but it's a great choice.

I never watched any David Lynch movie or show. But his impact over videogames is huge. Lots of adventure games took inspiration from Twin Peaks, with it being the most discussed TV show of the early 90s.

I'll keep on posting tunes here, I think it's a lot more organic than the other platform rn, even if the discussion isn't that interesting at times

wow, 20 years old already, it was crazy at the time it came out. I remember watching the news with my parents and hearing about a "Portable PS2" which seemed something impossible to me. It wasn't quite like it, but pretty close.

Yeah, one of the main problems with Dance music is how disposable most of it feels, like just tools for a DJ to play once in a set and then discard for the next big tune. There's lots of forgotten stuff to be appreciated.

Same here, together with Shining Force, these were my first RPGs in general.

I remember that game, never got too far, but can recognize the combat interface

I guess Psytrance got caught into repeating itself after the bassline focused Prog style became big around 2014 or so. It even influenced post Big Room stuff and now even Techno and Neo Rave with its basslines (you could say those basslines are on Trance too, but the Psy ones are more noticeable)

This type of Full On Psy isn't very common nowadays for some reason, glad to see some releases in this style once in a while. And yeah, the amount of views and likes shows many think the same.

Neo Rave might be the most solid style nowadays when it comes to release quality, great stuff coming out. I'd say most of it is still pretty generic, but I think there's space for variety and creativity if the style survives.

Neo Rave remake of a 90s Spanish classic: The Nighttrain by Kadoc. Pretty decent, but the original's build up is still better.

Oh, yeah Portuguese Techno tends to be around the groovier sides of the style, Goncalo M is probably my fav, lots of Hardgroove and similar stuff

I feel that it's easier finding an audience here, the other site is filled with bots and more niches already have their main representatives there, although I think there's still lots of space for music recs in most platforms.

Great UK Hardcore rework of Dream Frequency - Take Me, one of my fav Rave Techno tunes ever. Lots of great UK Hardcore releases as of late, it may be a niche style but it never stopped delivering.

These projects started getting a lot of success, getting constantly into Beatport Top (now it doesn't happen anymore), going for this "wedding DJs" audience, just in the way lots of Tech House is more "shopping mall" music than club music nowadays.

Funky House used to be one of my fav styles, it's sad to see how it's only a shell of its old self: while there's still new music out, most of it is just old Top 40 hits pasted over a base; no dynamics, no creativity whatsoever.

I'd blame Block & Crown and other similar projects for this effect.

It's decent imo, and it looked amazing graphics wise, just check out a guide so you don't get stuck in that part if you are playing the English version.

Played the GBA RPG one, I remember there was a typo in one of the quests that made it super hard to solve.

Second post I see about this game in a day, is it the anniversary or just coincidence?

Although I don't like the vocal sample (spanish Reggaeton/Latin Pop vocals don't suit Techno imo) this Mainroom Melodic Techno tune is clearly a bomb for most types of dancefloors.
