Love this @billmckibben.bsky.social piece on data centers. Arguably the most important idea here is that "Bring Your Own Generation" is not a panacea. It maybe could reduce cost-shifting to everyday ratepayers - but the default approach to BYOG so far is more fossil gas emissions. Not acceptable.
