Two bugs in copula on a rabbitgrush stem, tail to tail -- the female above and the male below. The female is larger but otherwise they're identical. They're black, with their backs outlined in orange. Since these are true bugs, not beetles, they don't have the hard back shells beetles have and the folded wings are visible (but we're talking black on black, so not obvious).
