It was the perfect way to end a perfect weekend.

Adam and I took it in turns to run with Mouse while the kids threw a ball for her and Molly, Mouse’s bestie 😭💕

Our short walk turned into an hour of talking and play with our dogs, a bunch of 13 year olds and our elderly friend. It was so so wholesome oh my god 😭😭

I also baked 32 bread rolls this morning and gave some to our neighbour, as well as some birthday cake.

We also met up with our dog walking friend who is in her 70s and had a good catch up with her. Then some kids came over and asked to play with our dogs.

I have had the BEST weekend. 😭💕

• I had lunch with my parents, introduced them to VR & had cuddles with the family dog, Dottie.

•My friends stayed over & we played Switch games until 1am.

• We had Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & very belated Birthday cake. They drank, I had cups of tea 😂

No, you’re so right! Rest and recovery is just as, if not more important than the run itself! If I pull a muscle or injure myself then I can set myself back weeks. Better to take it slow and steady 😌

It’s 5 miles, which isn’t that far. But I used to run 5 miles comfortably and now I’m fatigued after 3 miles 🥲
