It was a great opportunity for us to discuss ways of developing the respective communities, aligning intents and objectives, while the EDNAEurope core group also discussed governance & strategy.
The Workshop was made possible by @biogeneurope.bsky.social.
In early February, we had a joint workshop with representatives of the core group of EDNAEurope, which took place at @naturalis.bsky.social.
eDNAEurope is a nascent initiative exploring the feasibility of establishing a European society focused on eDNA. iboleurope.org/workshop-dev...

BGE is done sampling! π₯³
All over Europe scientists and citizen scientists took samples for BGE. Those samples needed to be transported to a lab for research, travelling thousands of kilometers. And that's not easy!
