They can be objectively beautiful, but I just can’t see them that way anymore as I know how dangerous they are. In a few months they’re just tinder, and do so much damage. It honestly makes me sad.

I don’t know anything about it, but I would have to imagine there is a native that does similar work.

It’s very pretty, but it’s invasive and a wildfire hazard. I wish we had the resources to destroy it and replace it with native plants. We have so many gorgeous natives!

I still check in with FB regularly due to social connections, and I don’t have that experience at all. I think it depends on your version of the algorithm (though I fear it defaults to that if you don’t use it). You can also choose to just see your friends updates.

This! I was going to say they’ve been prepped to think of this as war, which is both inaccurate and dangerous. The man who shot Renee Good had previously been pursuing actually dangerous people, and that mindset is not helpful in what is happening now. It’s so irresponsible.
