The AHA has endorsed a resolution introduced by Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley honoring Black history museums and cultural institutions. These institutions are “essential to telling the full story of our nation’s past,” said AHA executive director Sarah Weicksel. 🗃️

I took my family and friends to a museum this weekend. Always check their membership prices, sometimes it's cheaper, but in general it helps everyone. Supporting history, no matter how niche is a great way to help them and educate others. In this case a transportation museum.

There is a specialized speed shop I've been wanting to visit since I was a little kid. Now that I got the car, I finally had a good reason to go for one really cheap, but hard to find part. The best thing was, they included my daughter in conversations. She was so happy.

Went out and bought a tarp in prep for having a convertible and no covered parking with this winter storm. Snow estimates were everywhere. If I don't get at least a coating, I'm going to be really disappointed. I didn't even drive today on the assumption the roads would freeze.

Had to work on a Subaru last night. Friend of owner reported hearing a weird sound....I noticed the coolant was very low, filled that and then checked the oil....

2.5 quarts later I let him start the car, sounds fine now...but boy did he get a lecture on oil change intervals.

I showed the new car to my dog. She jumped in. She explored. She chose her seat. And then was disappointed that we weren't going anywhere. I can't wait till it's warmer and I can take the top down. She's now on Senior food and deserves to have the coolest ride.

I got it, a 1995 GT Mustang. My two cars are worth...the cost to replace all the external lights on a 2026 car. When it warms up I'll hopefully start doing content again.

Crashing at a buddy's place so I can grab a car later today. I noticed his bathroom was 1970s looking. Flushing the toilet...it literally is 1970s. I know folks complain about the flushing system of modern toilets, but dang it takes the old ones awhile. I had luckily forgotten that till now.
