We hebben veel berichten ontvangen van collega’s die ons jullie e-mail hebben doorgestuurd, met zorgen dat jullie bericht verdeeldheid zaait tussen OBP en WP. De e-mail wekt de indruk dat OBP oververtegenwoordigd is (en zij interpreteren dit als een oververtegenwoordiging in de U-raad). (1/2)

💪 Helemaal mee eens! Bij de verkiezingen van de universiteitsraad steun ik de @pf-rug.bsky.social, omdat wetenschappelijk en ondersteunend personeel samen belangrijke klussen moeten klaren. En dat kan bij de PF.

De RUG is voornemens te bezuinigen op Diversiteit en Inclusie en deze ‘in de lijn’ te zetten. Wij zijn het hier niet mee eens en hebben tijdens de U-raad onderstaande woordvoering gehouden. We wachten nu het verdere voorstel van het College aangaande D&I af. www.rug.nl/about-ug/org...

We ensured transparency and accountability within a proposal that decreases faculty's spending on energy. Voting against does not result in savings for the primary process, in turn resulting in more lay offs.

We hebben gezorgd voor transparantie en verantwoording binnen een voorstel dat de uitgaven van de faculteiten aan energie vermindert. Tegenstemmen levert geen besparingen op voor het primaire proces, wat mogelijk weer leidt tot meer ontslagen.

Precies! Andere diensten trouwens ook. Wij maken ons zorgen om het sentiment dat wordt verspreid. Daarnaast zijn wij wel bekend met de feiten. Wij maken ons zorgen over hoe dit sentiment gepoliticeerd (kan) word(en). Juist tijdens bezuinigingen: meer verbondenheid onder het personeel. Niet minder.
