I hate having a lot of browser tabs open in general. I should track how many I keep open when I'm working on these previews. Currently at 34, and I don't think that was the max.

About as strong of a field as I can remember seeing in recent years for this weekend's St. Paul Cashspiel

Women's side has all 4 US Olympic Trials teams as well as Korea's Eunjung Kim. Men's side has 3 of the 4 Trials teams (no Dropkin) and Nothern Ontario's Trevor Bonot.

With that type of HM time, she is gonna be just fine finishing!

If she wants to hear it, with the warmer temps, I would highly recommend purposefully slowing herself for the first 13-15 miles and then checking how she feels at that point before deciding to speed up or not.

Yeah that's not a great starting temp for a marathon. Electrolytes/salts are her friend

Hopefully she can just enjoy the experience and not worry about time. The TC marathon is one of my favorites that I've done.

Hopefully our cooler air is headed your way. Mountains here getting a fair bit of snow.

Surprised they don't have anything embedded in the grass. Or on the players. Or in the strike zone box.

For once, I didn't spoil the good walk.

Big news! 3 declines on the men’s side for Nisku: Jacobs, Shuster, and Xu. The PanCon begins Monday for the men with practice ice on Sunday, which forced the 3 teams to forgo Nisku. The women can still play because they don’t start until Tuesday with practice going Monday.

Dropkin is back for round 2.

Plus 4 US teams (2 men's & 2 women's) will be part of the Jr. GSOC U25 event

When the team came back for the next draw, you could not have guessed things had gone sideways just a few hours earlier.
