In the process of filming a coyote doc with PBS, I met some awesome community coyote scientists, including Wee Man from the “Jackass” franchise - who, it turns out, is a huge fan of coyotes and very knowledgeable about his local ‘yote pack. You never know who you’ll meet in community science!

For everyone paying attention to earthquake & tsunami info, a lot of funding for tsunami & earthquake monitoring comes from NOAA, but the fed gov is cutting their funding. Call your legislators, tell them to fund NOAA & USGS, who in turn funds regional network operators, like AK Earthquake Center

Yesterday, we organized the Flour March. Thousands of us, Jewish and Palestinian, marching with sacks of flour in our hands and fire in our hearts. We came because we refuse to stay silent as our government commits atrocities in Gaza.
