I'm not gonna make any /official/ announcements yet but I've been cooking something up these past few weeks (or months? what is time lmao) to have my cake and eat it too. We'll see 😂. I'm still writing things it's just...too expensive to self-publish. So I'm fiddling with that. 👀

I might finish the Worst series over time because I really love those characters. My brain bounces from thing to thing so I'm certain I'll come back it it one day, though I'm not sure I'd publish them officially. It's just so expensive 😭

I'm still writing, just mostly to declutter my brain instead of anything I plan to publish. Being a storyteller without an audience just didn't make the costs worth it. Constant submission rejections also sucked. Just don't have the skill to make it work. Ah well. It was fun!

I am no longer writing. I've lowered my prices on my Lulu store, and the novels I have will always be available, but I sadly do not have an audience and can't afford to continue doing this.

But I've been putting my writing efforts into other, more fulfilling things lately. It's a bummer, but I just can't financially justify writing to a wall. I'll still be around because y'all are awesome, but it's clear that I couldn't quite hack it at this. But that's okay. It was so much fun.

I don't have the audience to pay for this passion of mine. I'm not writing anything that sells. I just can't dump any more into it. I'll be leaving all my stuff up just for old time's sake; the books I have completed will always be available! 🧵

This is because of The Horrors of course, and those of us on this income deferrment are going to be kicked off it any day now. My monthly expenses will probably be unreasonable after that. It saddens me to make this thread, really, but the reality is this: 🧵

In my last work, the antagonist was an extremely fucked up deer lol. I generally didn't lean to the supernatural when developing horror stories unless it was like, a backstory. I love me some body horror

I likes subverting safety and comfort. A lot of my stories, published and otherwise, take place in settings where the characters are not inherently uneasy to begin with!

Depends on the story. Some characters have to give up an impossible desire, or a self destructive stubborn goal, etc etc.

Usually they're giving up something that hurts them, but they have a hard time letting go of.

My dad was so estranged from his family and I have very limited memories of my grandmother, never met his brother (my uncle), and I only met my cousin once or twice lol. I don't know what Bobcat is to me, but it's been confirmed by my cousin that he IS family lol

I am a blood relative of comedian Bobcat Goldthwait. I've always wanted to meet him and ask him about my dad's side of the family. Considering Bobcat wrote and directed a horror movie recently, I think I know where I get it from 🤣
