Mariners off-season has been characterized by one thing:
It's not good "content" to wait till the off-season is over before passing judgment.

I was able to attend several OD games when I lived in the States.

To me, (as you asked in Mailbag Monday), the contract they offered Santana shows that they might have a higher budget than all the media and fans have been yapping about.

I'm not expecting a huge FA signing. But I AM expecting a move that betters the team.

I can't help but think how different the fan-narrative would be if we'd won 2 more games last season and gotten into the playoffs.
Folks talking like the gap is a lot bigger than it is.
A couple of players have better seasons in 2025 we're in.

I am also amazed that so many are already calling the off-season a failure... sad.

I really do feel fans and media are underestimating the impact of a full season of Edgar and Seitzer for our young assets.
Couple that with our pitching, it's going to be a lot more fun than the negs think.
