Continuing work on the beach endless mode, I added some environmental sprites to the beach (trees, barrels, shells), and also added in some water trail effects!

Also fixed some bugs with enemy spawning and Y-sorting!

Quick sidetrack from Navigation - I reworked the lighting system today and added it into the Dungeon level.

Now, the lights merge together better, and the dungeon has much nicer ambiance! Check it below:

Reworked the book reading feature to now use green for the books you've already read. Now, people can stop reading the same 3 books in each playthrough!

It’s nothing spectacular but it’s a start! I started to learn the #GoDot engine and some C ++ and I’m absolutely amazed that I picked it up so easily and managed to create a scene, design a level and make the little frog dude jump around. Feeling accomplished. #gamedev #gamedesign #indiegame
