Foto eines Falter Zeitungsartikels “Sharing is Caring” Elfride: Carsharing für Öffi-Nutzer Elfride ist ein gemeinnütziger Carsharing-Verein in Wien mit 2 Autos und 38 Mitgliedern. Gründer Stefan Waschmann verfolgt ein ungewöhnliches Konzept: Carsharing, das den öffentlichen Verkehr stärkt statt konkurriert. Das Prinzip: Mitglieder müssen eine Öffi-Karte besitzen – wer ein Klimaticket hat, zahlt keinen Mitgliedsbeitrag. Die beiden Skoda Fabia sind nur für Situationen gedacht, wo Öffis nicht ausreichen: Ausflüge aufs Land, Ikea-Einkäufe oder Hochzeiten. Fair Use ist Pflicht: Mindestbuchzeit 4 Stunden, maximal 3000 km/Jahr, selbst tanken. Der Erfolg: Nach einem Jahr war die maximale Nutzerzahl erreicht, 70 Personen stehen auf der Warteliste. Die Autos stehen in der Stiftgarage und sind über ein selbstgebautes Online-System buchbar, rund um die Uhr per digitalem Code zugänglich. Das Erfolgsrezept: Vertrauen in der Community. Viele Mitglieder kennen sich, passen aufeinander auf und kümmern sich um die Fahrzeuge. Stefans Handynummer ist die Kummernummer – auch nachts. Auch Kleinunternehmer wie Kaffeemik-Geschäftsführerin Natascha Kretzl nutzen Elfride für wöchentliche Fahrten zur Rösterei. Stefan hofft auf ähnliche Projekte: "Mit gutem Carsharing könnten wir in Wien viele Parkplätze für Sinnvolleres freimachen."
