He apparently took two separate decisions.
1. When the US asked for help in their illegal attack, he refused.
2. When Iran attacked UK bases and other allies, he authorised strikes against the specific missile sites concerned.
I can't honestly criticise either of those.

Newspapers that told their readers austerity, Brexit, Johnson & Truss would be brilliant are attacking the British Prime Minister for not unquestioningly following a lunatic President into an illegal attack. And on social media, he gets attacked from the other 'side' for doing the precise opposite!

So, in launching a huge bombing campaign on Iran they apparently didn't plan for:
- Who takes over;
- Interceptor shortages from sustained drone retaliation;
- How to defend US bases in the region;
- Threats to ships in the Strait of Hormuz; and
- How to evacuate Americans with airspace closed.

Trump's comments about the UK go to show why you should NEVER try to pander to him. He is a narcissistic psychopath who will expect more and more each time you placate him.
How cringe giving him that fake 2nd state tour looks now. As we all said it would.

Mr. Starmer isn't pandering to Trump. He is putting the UK and its citizens first in dealing with a host of issues that could have dreadful outcomes. I'd rather his quiet and considered approach than Trump's Reality TV performance style, uneducated and embarassing .

We do not have Shia law in the UK. Rather the rule of law that goes back to the Magna Carta. The same basis of law that investigates Andrew MB and Lord Mandelson. The same law that would investigate Donald Trump if he was a British Citizen.

Our nation is again at war, not because we had to but because the president recklessly chose to.
Now we must recognize who pays the price: not the president and his wealthy allies, but service members and ordinary Americans.

Minnesota has lost 1,300 farms in two years, many more on the brink
Applications for $12 billion in USDA bridge payments opened up this week, but farmers say it will only cover a fraction of losses due to trade wars.
The math is not adding up for farmers across southern Minnesota. The latest numbers from the USDA show that Minnesota has lost 1,300 farms in just the past two years. We need a Congress that will stop these tariffs and bring down input costs for our farmers.

The US has never not had an election. We had elections during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, during WW1 and WW2, during the Great Depression, and after Peril Harbor, during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. There's never been a valid reason to cancel elections.

When Trump tells Iranian citizens "he's got their back and take back the government," it's all a lie! IRGC has 125,000 active members and their militia has about approximately 610,000 active personnel and 350,000 reserves. Let Israel knock them out first before coming out to the streets!

Push from Saudis, Israel helped move Trump to attack Iran
President Trump launched a wide-ranging attack on Iran after weeks-long lobbying by an unusual pair of U.S. allies in the Middle East: Israel and Saudi Arabia.
I donβt agree, I have read countless reliable reports from media including the Washington Post that credible sources say Trump attacked Iran at the urging of the Saudis and Israel. Despite US intelligence assessments that saw no imminent threat.
