My inner German was very unhappy today bc apparently Swedes use tablespoons to eat cake and such instead of small forks

Eating a brownie with a tablespoon just hurt something deep inside my soul 😂😭

Oh no 😭😭😂 aber yeah, das ist immerhin schon mal gut, wenn man dann nicht alleine ist xD ich hatte zum Glück auch noch genug Essen zu Hause und dann relativ schnell herausgefunden, dass nicht meine Karte einfach kaputt ist or sth 😂😭

Friendly reminder that credit card limits are a thing

I may or may not have forgotten that because I never use mine at home. It has been resolved now, but it was a kinda sad experience when I wasn't able to pay for my ~5€ purchase at Ikea 😂😭

I don't really get why anyone thought that hanging the curtain rod this high would be necessary (I can't even reach it unless I'm standing on my tiptoes) or why nobody bought a longer shower curtain, but at least the bathroom floor is getting cleaned regularly this way 😭😂

I will start with odd things in/around my airbnb for now:

For some reason, the shower curtain doesn't go all the way to the floor. The curtain rod hangs so high that there is like 20 cm of space between the end of the curtain and the floor, so I always flood at least half of the bathroom

I successfully survived my first day at the internship, so I'll hopefully have some time to talk about my time in Sweden so far soon 👀
