20 years ago today, the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants special ‘Have You Seen This Snail?’ premiered on Nickelodeon.

The special was watched by 8 million viewers and was the highest-rated program on all TV among children for the year of 2005.

I'm honestly not sure about this.

Meme aside, it's wild that Kingdom Heart is a crossover between the serious series of Final Fantasy, and the light-hearted family brand of Disney. This is the closest thing we'll get to an anime and western animation collab.

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.

This art style is goofy af and it's funny.

Did you see the sequel short that played beforehand?

I watched the Paranorman short, The Thrifting, and I like it. I would like to see a Laika movie in that cg style.
