Canada specifically operated this specific system but has modernized to the LAV 3 AND LAV 6. They do have a configuration similar to this on the more modern hulls.

For FMS sales the Starry overall saw much wider sales than the real-life LAV 25. Seeing sales in Europe and Asia.

One notable example is the separate Cavalry units of the Philippines which bought second-hand US Army Starys to modernize them. From older M113s and Commandos.

There are a few unsure if it's from the 3rd LAR or a separate unit. But there are a few across the island.

Funnily enough not entirely meant to be shot at ships. It's based on the currently unknown long-range missile going to the army's MFRCs. As the NSM can be used in both anti-ship and land attack. I've since just replaced it with a HIMARS battery with PRSM though.

The Cornerback is still prolific in the National Guard, with five battalions still being in service. With plans to replace them with Stouts hitting funding walls, they will likely continue to serve into the 2030s. (5/5) Thanks to Battle Order for Graphics. Part of my 202X project.

Recently, modernization efforts have given the vehicle the Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar, which allows it to better find targets itself instead of relying on towed Sentinel radars. While nearly gone from the active component outside of 2ACR(L) and specific army light divisions. (4/5)

Cornerbacks can be equipped with the same pod, depending on mission requirements. The centerpiece of its air defense package is the GAU-12 25MM Gatling Cannon, carrying one thousand rounds for it. While less accurate than modern systems, few things that fly can survive 25mm (APDS). (3/5)

The only place it never found a home was in heavy units, which found their answer on the Bradley-based Linebacker. Usually equipped with one four-round stinger pod (8 Reloads) for dealing with air threats and a nineteen-round Hydra pod loaded with AGR-20s to deal with UAS threats. (2/5)

The M1050A1 β€œCornerback” Has been the cornerstone of US Army SHORAD operations since its introduction in the Army and USMC inventory in the 1980s. Complementing the lighter Avenger in light and motorized units. (1/5) #ORBATBoys
