Cristin Milioti’s speech is why I watch award shows. It’s the speeches that keep us watching not the results. I hate that her expression of joy and gratitude costs a charity precious resources #Emmys this was not a good bit.

I move to call time out on the word "divisive" in any description of political figures until we all get in the habit of saying what we mean. Charlie Kirk was a bigot--racist, antisemitic, anti-trans, misogynistic, queer-hating--through and through.

How dare anyone equate contempt for Charlie Kirk and all he stood for with celebrating his murder. Such thinking is unfair, unkind, and disingenuous at the very best. He spent his life narrowing who deserves an unencumbered life. The people I admire and respect do the exact opposite.
