U.S. support for Ukraine has severely degraded the threat posed to the U.S. by a major adversary, with zero cost in American lives. It demonstrates our support for democracy and international law, which Russia and China are desperate to undermine. The United States is safest when we stand with the free peoples of the world against those who would oppress them.
