She’s on at least two blocklists. I’ve come across the type before, and eventually they reveal that it’s not just trans women that they hate. They will definitely have opinions on other women that are less than generous.

That’s how asymmetric it all is. If they stop, we live peacefully, and the worst that happens to bigots is that they might encounter us in public and discover that they believed bullshit. If they continue, we suffer enormously. ❤️

It’s hate, and rather than deal with reality, these people launch propaganda campaigns. They know what the public are ignorant about, and push their version of what we are so that we are drowned out. It’s mass bullying and disinformation, and I’m sick of them getting away with it.

I’m still damned sick of people parading factually incorrect statements about trans people, hoping to ultimately bring about us being pushed out of public life, and (in their minds) pushed out of existence.

A few thoughts today, one is that it’s good to see one of the most prominent anti-trans campaigners in Australia having legal consequences for vilifying two trans women. It gives me a little more hope that Australia can resist the waves of bigotry coming from the UK and the US.

The sharehouse housemates have been quiet so far today. Chris said that the loud BBQ guy hasn’t been around for a few days. So I did get out long enough to realise that I should get back inside 😂 32°C today, same tomorrow!

They’ve done it before. Utterly disrespectful behaviour, somehow ok because it’s poor people. A good thing was he got on to a mental health support person that is hospital-based - she helped us a lot this year, and she had got the psychiatrist letter that he needed, and emailed it.

Day 2 of the heatwave. We stayed home, no business to take us places. Chris got a text that Centrelink would call him today. As of 7:30pm, they hadn’t. Yet he was trying to stay alert in case they called … and has narcolepsy.
