there was an air ride check that was like “finish this race in 01:35” and I kept consistently getting around 01:50 and I couldn’t figure out how to do it that much faster so I changed the laps from 2 to 1 and it worked

it's so funny that Super Star kept Galactic Nova's morality kind of ambiguous for the past 30 years and then you play the Nova track in Air Riders and the opening shot is him just blasting the shit out of some random planet with missiles and lasers

I was in shock for a second because I thought I had just killed the enemy and didn’t even hear the announcer say missile, but thank god missile works like ufo and you just get it automatically

I hadn’t seen it once in the whole game so I forgot it was even in that lol

I’ve been running high lap counts on various tracks, mostly nebula because of the constant copy panels, and staying anywhere from 100 to 300 yards behind. The ufo and gemaine have shown up a lot but there’s been no sign of missile from enemies or panels at all

yeah no luck, this has gotta be like 1/1000 odds or something. air ride checklist’s staying at 149/150 for now

I’ve seen UFO a dozen times but I just cannot get the missile copy ability to show up in air riders

I just fully completed the road trip list last night and I’m very glad that none of the boxes there have anything to do with super hard, because that mode’s no joke

city trial is still very fun but I feel like it’s far too easy to get uncontrollably fast in a smaller, more cramped city than the original game’s.
There’s also a way higher quantity of patches on top patches being more effective, so honestly 5 minutes might actually be preferable to 7 this time

I have a forever feathered uprising checklist and I won’t make the same mistake again…
