The K shaped economic recovery and expansion of executive power contributed massively to the current Trump administration corruption and overreach. I'll grant that he had an obstructive congress but his time in office is basically emblematic of status quo neoliberal decline.

History has not been that kind to Obama's legacy. He continued and in some cases expanded decades long imperial policies that put huge strain on the American economy and inflicted enormous violence abroad, allowed massive consolidation in big tech, barely passed healthcare reform.

I basically only use my windows pc for games and certain weird cases anymore. I have a Mac mini for gamedev and pixel art and a Linux install for other programming tasks, but I might phase out the windows stuff with proton getting so good.

Yeah it's definitely a good idea to take care about running random scripts off github, but this repo has 30K stars and I ran it on my own machine so I felt comfortable recommending it. Skepticism is always the right call though.
