Her recent work includes Arnold Wesker's Roots at the Almeida, starring Morfydd Clark, which was described as "An extraordinary piece of work: intimate and visionary” by The Observer.

Diyan Zora makes her Donmar debut directing the world premiere of EVENING ALL AFTERNOON.
Diyan is an award-winning director and writer for theatre. She received the 2021 Genesis Future Directors Award, and was a member of the Bush Theatre's 2022 Emerging Writer's Group.

Anna’s new play Antigone (This Play I Read in High School) will also premiere this winter at the Public Theater in New York. Her other plays include Actually, The Wanderers, The Last Match, Dov and Ali, A Delicate Ship, and Another Way Home.

Her most recent play ,The Janeiad, is a modern retelling of The Odyssey from a 9/11 widow's perspective (named Jane) who is guided by Penelope to wait for her husband to return. It was a finalist for the 2025 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

Her previous plays include Photograph 51, starring Nicole Kidman as pioneering DNA scientist Rosalind Franklin, which premiered in the West End, directed by Michael Grandage.
It won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Play and has gone on to be produced around the world.
