Touching grief group today as a man talked about Vietnam and the friends he lost, likening his grief to the bomb craters his unit encountered so often. His stories encouraged other vets in the room to share a bit too. Very rare. In my experience, vets need to be heard but often stay silent. 💔

My daughter and I were fortunate to hear Jane Goodall speak a dozen years ago. Soft-spoken, brilliant, passionate, clear-sighted, compassionate, inspiring. I agree, a great soul. 💕🙏

These people are some of the very best humanity has to offer - we must protect them at all costs.
