It’s a great philosophy United have.
Let’s get rid of Mctominay, Rashford and Garnacho - 3 of our 5 top scorers for the last 3 seasons - and put all our faith in wingbacks and Mason Mount 🤯

Too thick to realise one of their own was on that plane.

Had around 17 new followers in the last hour. All Americans mostly with Trump in the bios somewhere…
This is going to be ugly.
#LivUnited
It didn’t take long for the rats to start eating their own.
05.01.2025 15:16 — 👍 7 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’ve changed my mind a couple times on what I’ve thought Amorim needs to do to get a competitive team out on the pitch, recently.
Technical ability is secondary to being able to run.
Onana
Yoro - MDL/Martinez - Maz
Amad - Ugarte - Bruno - Dalot
Mainoo - Garna
Hojlund
This is a must for Liverpool

To then sack him and appoint Amorim after 10 games is by far the worst decision made post SAF. It’ll cost hundreds of millions and seasons to rectify this mistake.
This team has shown nothing to say they couldn’t be relegated.
This is true!
But at least give the rest a fighting chance. Martinez, Mainoo, Mazraoui, Dalot, Amad, Bruno, Hojlund…
These aren’t bad players. But they look bang average in this system.
This Amorim experiment will never work.
3-4-3 will never work.
This is a joke.
Take 3 or 4 years to recover from this. Yet another panic and another failed “experiment”.
Yep! 100% agree
26.12.2024 18:49 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Absolutely awful.
Nothing against Amorim… but why bring him in? This team can’t play this system.
Yeah that’s the only change but he’s just come back from illness.
Drop off between de Ligt and Maguire is small though.
Today we play our strongest XI.
I’d be very very worried if we don’t get a result.
Huge game this!
#comeonyoureds
I hate the Rangnick quote. Been about 20 ins and outs since then.
Only one team has ever been succesful in England playing 3-4-3. It just doesn’t work. It’s such a specialised set up. Such unique players needed.
No other top side in Europe play it!
We’d be getting beat 3-0 at home to Bournemouth
22.12.2024 17:56 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Two and a half year contract to one of the most unique managers in Europe, to completely overhaul an entire squad and implement a completely new system of football.
In my view. It’ll not happen.
Players who’ve looked very good in other systems are looking lost in this. (Martinez for one)
I’m just not convinced.
Ipswich - struggle
Bodo - 3-2. 2-1 down
Everton - flattering score
Beaten at Arsenal. Beaten by Forest.
Scraped past Plzen.
5 minutes from being beaten by an awful city side.
Beaten by Tottenham and currently being beaten by Bournemouth.
Have we improved?
De Ligt, Ugarte, Yoro, Martinez, Hojlund…?

19.12.2024 21:59 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Rashford has done so much good on and off the field. So many amazing memories for Manchester United as a footballer.
But if he and United are to move forward it’s in everyone’s best interest to do it separately.
A wonderful talent who, for whatever reason, has stagnated at United.
Time to move on
That first half was a shambles.
Becoming clear and obvious where the team breaks down.
I think Rashford is done. Another abject performance.
Zirkzee needs to get up to speed quickly or he’ll be next.
Dalot. Antony. Casemiro are others who just aren’t good enough.
Onana needs to be careful too.
Wow

Let him know he’s wrong by sharing this widely
I can’t remember the last time I watched United and didn’t immediately think that it was a squad that is “a work in progress”.
10 years?
Can clearly see Amorim is still figuring this side out. Strengths and weaknesses.
I think a centre mid and LWB are our biggest worries.
For me it’s not that we’re light upfront, it’s that we struggle to get the ball there through that middle 4.
Fulltime:
ManUnited 0
StokeCity* 2
Exactly.
So for now that means trying to keep trump and America onside.
I see it as a tactical move rather than an antagonistic one.
