I’ve been friends with the Post and Courier’s managing editor since the 90’s when he worked for me. But I also worked with him on a story in the last few years and he’s as old-school gumshoe (frustratingly so for a hothead like me at the time) as it gets and I’m extraordinarily proud to know him.
