Thank you for sharing! I'm going to watch over on YouTube since I missed it. I had planned on watching when it aired, but then a wildfire broke out nearby & I was monitoring various news sources for possible evacuations. (Everything's okay now.)

What a great concept! Love it!

Around 1999 or so, I tried turning these into Easter cards, hated how they looked, & threw the whole works out. All these years later, it turns out that I like a solid border on it instead of a patterned one.

Finally! I finished creating 24 Valentine cards for 2026! So most of my stamping projects are done for the summer. I’m still hoping to decorate some envelopes before it’s back-to-school time.

Ooh! I still have to watch today’s episode. Sounds like an eventful one!

This is making me bummed out that I haven’t been to a #YR fan event in many years. David Kimble was my all-time favorite soap villain! I watched his trash compactor death scene on a black & white TV, then searched the dorm for a color TV to rewatch it on!

Slight change of plans. I literally provided the measurements of the new clock & got it cleared before moving it to my wishlist. Now maintenance says it won't cover the hole in the wall. But I ❤️the new clock & I'm not ditching it. I told them another spot to put it.

Excited yet disappointed at the same time! Excited that the district electricians removed the white blob from my wall. Disappointed that they left a gaping hole in the wall & my new clock isn’t up yet. (Key word being YET).

I was pretty excited to hear that the district's electricians are helping me remove "the blob" (the painted over clock I inherited) because it's hardwired into the wall way up by the ceiling. They'll install my new clock for me. Pretty exciting that it's happening!

All of this needs to be unpacked, but today’s not the day. I was only up there for a short trip to hang up the alphabet & to bring the new digital clock for maintenance to help me with.

I hung up a new alphabet with math vocab on it while I was there. The new ELA adoption doesn’t come w/ an alphabet to display, so I found one on my own. (Teachers Pay Teachers, otherwise known as TpT).

Don’t tell anyone (just kidding!), but I entered. The custodians already told me they’d finish our hall on early Friday. It’s had plenty of time to cure, and I didn’t ruin their hard work.

Meanwhile, this is the clock I inherited 2 years ago, aka “the blob.” I can’t wait for maintenance to help me switch it out with the new clock!

In the spring, you should check out Adelman Peony Gardens in Brooks, OR. (Just a little north of Salem.) It’s free and absolutely beautiful! That one usually opens in mid April I think.

Maybe this will be the year we don’t have triple digit heat! I’ve wanted to make the drive up there a couple of times over the years, but have backed out because of the weather & a broken a/c in my car. 😀

I should add that all donations help my students directly & can only be used to buy books. Last year's group of 3rd graders LOVED getting new books thanks to generous donors who contributed! Even a dollar helps. So grateful! ❤️

I finished making 40 Christmas cards from scratch for 2025! It took about a month, which is why I started early.

Supposedly Chance has been passing time by playing hackeysack with Carter, but I don’t buy it. The guy acts like he has a stick up his bottom. There’s no way he’s doing anything fun. I think the guy was probably out in the maze tossing knives. #YR

I think whoever threw the knife was tall, & I suspect Carter. Maybe he was following Cane’s orders & eliminated the competition? Or maybe he snapped & tried harming Cane, but Damian was in the wrong spot at the wrong time? #YR

I used to participate in card exchanges back when rubber stamping was more popular. I kept this bag to help w/ measurements on future projects. I’m thinking this year’s Christmas card layers could match the ones on my long-ago Easter card from the top of the bag.
