You know what else these poor people would have to do to vote?
1. Find the same things needed for an ID.
2. Fill out the registration.
3. Drive to the poll.
4. Fill out the ballot.
5. Drive home.

I will confidently argue that there is not 1 person that doesn’t have an ID that also wants to vote. It’s important enough that you should need an ID. Voter suppression is a bogus argument. 84% of Americans agree. Even a clear majority of dems.

I don’t know if there is or not, but I don’t deny it’s possible. You need to apply a little brain. The amount of effort it would take for even 100s of 1000s of identities to be stolen, just to cast a single vote for each makes that a non-issue. Just stop denying it. ID is more secure than no ID.

I’ll agree with you on that actually, and I don’t think it should be done the way it’s being proposed now. It should be on the government to obtain birth records. You should only have to say where you were born. All birth records would have to be digitized and databased, then they could go there.
