It was very risky to go for this boss already. I also didn't even know if the crest still works with maggots. It does work. The steel soul run lives.

Good examples still exist. While I don't really care about Animal Crossing, giving a free content update for switch users is a great move especially after seeing how Nintendo goes with paid dlcs lately. We need more free content updates. Maybe smm2 could get that too?

I beat Silksong in Steel Soul mode (so without dying). Only 2 achievements left which are 100% in sub 30 hours and 100% steel soul. Let's see how far this run will go.

What made Silksong great for me was that you have so many options on how to do fights. Different crests that completely change the moveset. Different tools that can make certain fights so much easier and less frustrating.

Some people think certain design choices are just bad while others like Silksong also for these design choices that some people hate.
One important thing to note about this game is: if a challenge is too hard to overcome you need to explore to find something that makes you strong enough to do it.

There is no objectively perfect game. A lot of people jumped on the Silksong hypetrain while they had no idea what this was about and just knew it's popular. I think it's easily a 10/10 game but for people who don't like challenging games I would not recommend it.

When I played this game I got the base ending while still having only 6 masks and without ever finding the skull mask. What made combat progressively easier for me during my playthrough were mainly the tools (and of course wanderer's crest).

Some points I can understand, others less and especially when it comes to progression I don't know if I missed it but did they even mention tools? Mask shards are not the only thing in the game that makes you stronger. Tools made a lot of fighting so much easier and are good to not get cornered.

I just remember the many attempts and struggles P5 took me and nothing in Silksong came close to the top 2 hardest bosses of Hollow Knight. But to be fair, they are dlc bosses and Silksong might add bosses like that in dlc too (I hope they do lol)

And personally I would say nothing in Silksong comes close to being as hard as pantheon 5 in Hollow Knight. At least in my opinion.

Oh... personally hunter's crest was not what I went with because I wasn't a big fan of its pogo. Once I got a crest that gives similar attacks as in Hollow Knight I started only using that (wanderer). Personally I think wanderer is easier. It's like a Hollow Knight short range quick slash nail.

Oof. Which crest are you using? The game gives so many options on that and on tools too.
I am surprised you got that frustrated with it. Did you ever do Pantheon 5 in Hollow Knight?

Before act 3 Silksong is great. At act 3 it becomes the greatest game of all time...
and since Hornet gets pretty overpowered tools till that it's not that difficult anymore...
I hope you give it another chance at some point!

I got rank K in online battles in Pokemon Legends Z-A. It was actually pretty quick. It was for a mega stone but online battles are such chaos, I really like it.

Pokemon Legends Z-A is really fun. The gameplay is great but it's really sad that they still don't have any voice acting in their games. At the very least put voice acting in cutscenes. It feels so wrong without it.

Pokemon comes out and in that exact week there is a trial game. So I tried Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance a bit. It's a very interesting game. If you like JRPGs, that's a game for you. Me personally... I think I could get into it but too many other games are in my backlog rn.

I played a bit of Pokemon Legends Z-A and I must say this game runs pretty well on the Switch 1 so far. I don't know what the upgrade adds but I feel like it's probably not adding anything that's worth 10€ extra. This game seems so far a lot better than Scarlet/Violet.
