The total population of Kansas is around 3 million people. The number of trans people they sent letters to invalidating their IDs is around 1,500.

They went through all the effort of passing this bill just to make the lives of 0.05% of their population materially worse and more dangerous.

What I ended up doing is just adding links to the top of the page which people have to click to get to the specific parts of the page that details each course. But it's really not an elegant solution, and it frustrates me I can't just give people a link externally to those parts of the page.

Case in point, today I was trying to link to a specific part of a webpage to promote an online course. Well, for some reason Cargo doesn't allow this. (Why aren't we using Wordpress?) Stacking the pages doesn't work either like Cargo recommends.

How long did I spend troubleshooting this? Two hours.

As someone with very limited web development experience who often ends up helping out with websites for small/community orgs, getting the website to do what you want it to do often feels like getting sucked into a black hole.
